Local government representatives do not need vehicles; instead they want their due rights: Akhtar

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar in his recent statement has accused the Sindh government of bribery, reported Dunya News.

While inaugurating a road in Korangi District, Waseem Akhtar called the recent move of distributing vehicles among the local government representatives by the Sindh government as a clear case of bribery.

He let it be known that the local government representatives do not need vehicles; instead they want their due rights.

Waseem Akhtar expressed at the occasion that owing to the due rights not being transferred to the local representatives of PPP, the pressure was still on the Sindh government and that is why, they have come up with the recent move.

Karachi Mayor expressed at the occasion that he had already opposed the decision of distributing vehicles among the local representatives.

He demanded that fire tenders and machines for garbage disposal should be handed over to him.
