Dozens arrested in search operations across Punjab
In Vehari district 45 suspects were arrested in search operations whereas arms were also recovered
VEHARI/PINDI BHATTIAN (Dunya News) - More than 50 suspects were arrested in the wee hours of Sunday, across Punjab in search operations, reported Dunya News.
The search operations were conducted in Vehari, Burewala and Mailsi, whereas 45 suspects were arrested. Police conducted raids on hotels, bus stations, guest houses as more than 1000 policemen participated in it.
The identity cards of people were checked to make sure that people were registered citizens of Pakistan. On the other hand police arrested 12 Afghans in Pindi Bhattian and recovered arms from them.
