Provinces were informed about terror threats: Ch Nisar
Ch Nisar urged media to focus on promoting national cohesion and courage among the people.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday has said that the provinces were again and again informed about the terror threats but they didn’t bother.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Chaudhary Nisar said that we have also unearthed the possible places from where terrorists can attack.
Referring to terrorist incident in Sehwan Sharif, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said maintenance of law and order in Sindh was the sole responsibility of the provincial government for which federal government should not be maligned.
He said incidents of terrorism have significantly declined due to effective security measures taken by the government during last three years.
He urged media to focus on promoting national cohesion and courage among the people.
Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said it is very important for the media to black list the terrorist organizations and do not air any content glorifying militancy.
He said since the adoption of National Action Plan (NAP) to this day, the government has focused on sharing and discussion with all stake holders including the media.
