KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Saturday said peace would not be attained till detention of terrorists involved in Sehwan Sharif tragedy.

Murad Ali Shah was chairing a meeting to review security situation after blast at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s shrine.

Sindh CM directed arrest of the culprits at earliest.

During briefing, Shah was told that power supply of shrine was cut over non-payment of dues upon which Shah responded that HESCO had no authority to perform such act.

An agreement has been inked with department concerned in this regard, stated Murad Ali Shah.

Power dues of Lal Qalandar’s shrine have swelled to Rs40 million.

Sindh CM directed Inspector General (IG) of Police to enhance security measures of 86 shrines across province including Abullah Shah Ghazi, Shah Latif Bhattai and Lal Qalandar shirnes.

Sindh CM also instructed auqaf department to deploy lady constables at each shrine.

A committee comprising deputy commissioners, SSPs and members of auqaf department, has also been constituted which would present it report to Sindh CM on daily basis.

“Our law enforcement agencies and our people at large are fighting courageously to uproot menace of terror. We have to win this war at any cost”, the Chief Minister said.
