Hearing of Ghazi murder case against Musharraf to be held today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Hearing of murder case against former president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf is going to be held today (Wednesday).

Murder case of Lal Masjid cleric Abdur Rashid Ghazi will be heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Pervaizul Qadir Memon.

Defense lawyer will give arguments on application submitted for issuance of red warrant against Pervez Musharraf.

It has been requested in the application to declare Musharraf fugitive as he has not appeared before court despite the court orders. Furthermore, it is said that red warrant against the former president should be issued so that he could be brought back to country through Interpol.

The court is likely to announce its decision today.
