Violence on kids unacceptable, Sindh Assembly has prepared bill to jail whoever beats a kid
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Sindh Assembly has on Thursday prepared the bill that suggests sending anyone beating children to jail. Violence against kids has been strictly prohibited in the bill. MPA Mehtab Akbar Rashidi says that the effects of violence turn out to be devastating for the society in the long run and the bill has been prepared to curb the same, reported Dunya News.
Violence on kids has become a routine at houses as well as in educational institutions. According to the religious clerics, religion does not allow violence against kids under any condition.
Generally violence by teachers or parents leaves negative impression on the kids forcing them into wrong deeds. This is not an issue of the kids alone but that of the entire society.
