Karachi issues: Mayor, CM agree over joint recommendations
Sindh CM has directed for reimbursement of funds given to KDA by KMC earlier
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah and Mayor of Karachi, Waseem Akhtar convened a meeting on Wednesday and agreed to chalk out joint recommendations in order to solve range of issues faced by the locals in the metropolis.
The meeting was attended by Local Government Minister, Jam Khan Shoro among others.
While talking to the media after the meeting, the mayor said that he would be preparing joint recommendations with inputs from the provincial minister. The draft would then be forwarded to the Chief Minister, Waseem Akhtar said.
The mayor further said that the issue regarding authority of local representatives’ would also be talked about with the government.
