Land Scandal: Petition against original owners rejected

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A significant progress was achieved in the land scandal when the Civil Judge rejected the petition filed by head of the scamesters Chaudhry Arshad against the original land owners.
It is pertinent to mention that the biggest land scandal in the history of the country was unveiled Dunya News on Dec 1.
According to details, the fraudsters had filed a petition in the court against Junaid Bari while pleading to forbid him to sell 3800-kanal land on the basis of a fake court’s decision.
The petition was adjourned for the last six months, however on Dunya News report; Chief Justice Lahore High Court took action of the matter.
On the special orders of Chief Justice, the hearing on each day basis pursued and was completed in merely two days period.
The court allowed Junaid Bari to sell his land while rejecting the petition of Chaudhry Arshad.
The decision as to rest of the affectees of Land scam scandal such as Mian Aftab is still to be made by the court.
