Both fractions of MQM claiming dead workers' membership
Nadeem Nusrat expressed that the extra-judicial murder of Waseem Raja is tantamount to the genocide
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The suspicious death of Waseem Raja in police custody came as a surprise for everyone not only as to the cause of his death but also the claims after his demise by both the fractions of MQM.
According to details, MQM-Pakistan and MQM-London both claimed that the deceased worker belonged to their party.
After the death of Waseem Raja, MQM-Pakistan leaders reached hospital and also the MQM-London convener revealed his statement over the murder.
MQM-London convener Nadeem Nusrat was of the opinion that the extra-judicial murder of Waseem Raja is tantamount to the genocide of Muhajirs.
He let it be known that Waseem Raja was arrested in a raid and bribes were later on demanded for his release.
On the other hand, MQM-Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar has expressed in his recent statement that despite chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogan by the party workers, the killing of party workers is still in continuation.
Farooq Sattar has demanded that the authorities should take notice of Raja’s death.
