Punjab land scam: Affectees record statements, hand over evidence
The development has come in after Dunya News exposed the scam last month
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) of anti-corruption department has recorded statements of affectees of a land scam on Monday that has been purported as the biggest reported in Punjab.
Reportedly, a strategy has been chalked out to put Chaudhry Arshad Ali behind bars as he allegedly grabbed around 1.93 lac canal land through forged documents and verdicts of courts.
The development has come in after Dunya News exposed the scam last month.
Junaid Bari and Mian Aftab among others recorded their statements to DG of antic-corruption department as he had summoned affectees on Saturday. The affectees have thanked Dunya News to have reported their voice by exposing the scam.
Both the affectees handed over documented evidence against the prime suspect as well.
