Will lockdown Islamabad on Nov 2 at any cost: Imran Khan

Imran Khan said that PTI will submit an appeal against IHC decision soon.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PT) chief Imran Khan on Thursday has said that he will appear before Islamabad High Court (IHC) on October 31.

Imran Khan said that PTI will submit an appeal against IHC decision to not shut down Islamabad as the protest will be carried out at any cost.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Khan said Prime Minister Nawaz has destroyed all the national departments. He said that half of the Pakistan’s population is deprived of food and other basic facilities.

Nawaz Sharif neither resigns nor presents himself for accountability, he added.

PTI chief reiterated that no one will be able to stop the flood of people in Islamabad on November 2.

He further advised Punjab police to act according to law.

Earlier today, the court ordered that no educational institution will be closed while no container will be placed on the roads on November 2.

A notice has also been issued to Imran Khan to attend next hearing and justify that upon which rule he is locking down the federal capital. 

On the other hand, Islamabad administration has imposed section 144 for two months.

Under the law, gathering of five or more people will not be allowed in Islamabad during this period.
