It is our right to come to roads and it is our right to move Supreme Court, says PTI Chairman

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has on Monday said that it was his party s right to go to Supreme Court of Pakistan and also to demonstrate on the roads, reported Dunya News.

Talking to Kamran Khan on Dunya News, Imran Khan said that his party was going to demonstrate on the roads because corruption was a major issue and there was no progress possible without getting rid of this menace.

When questioned about his meeting with Chinese ambassador regarding China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Imran Khan said that he told the Chinese ambassador that it wasn t China s fault but Pakistan government s that didn t take the smaller provinces into confidence.

Kamran Khan asked him how did he address Chinese ambassador s concerns regarding instability in Pakistan. Imran Khan said that he didn t address such concerns at all since it was Pakistan s internal issue and China had nothing to do with it. "Did anyone tell the people of Iceland over Panama Leaks issue that foreign investment would be stopped in case their PM was removed? This is our internal matter, not anyone else s", he said.

Imran Khan said that this movement was Pakistan s war. He said that the government must make sure that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should either resign or present himself for accountability. He added that the PM was given ample time but he didn t present himself for accountability. "It is about one question only. Who is wrong? Is PM wrong who didn t present himself for accountability or is it the people who are telling him to present himself for accountability? He must resign like Iceland s PM and ensure that the democracy continues peacefully in Pakistan", Imran said.
