Ex-KMC worker commits suicide over unpaid pension
Iqbal committed suicide by jumping off Civic Centre building.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A disgruntled retired employee of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) on Monday committed suicide over non-payment of pension.
Police said the person identified as Iqbal committed suicide by jumping off fourth floor of the Civic Centre building. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but could not survive.

KMC employees said the deceased was not paid pension for the last 13 months. Police found only 32 rupees inside his pocket.
Police have launched investigation into the incident.
Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah ordered authorities to file a report in the issue after he took notice over Dunya News reportage.
