ISLAMABAD (Dunya News / Web Desk) - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on Friday and a meeting of the National Security Committee on Tuesday to deliberate over ties and future policy towards India.

The meeting has been summoned in PM secretariat Islamabad to have a consultation on giving a befitting reply to Indian aggression.

The cabinet meeting will be briefed about border security, army preparations and foreign affairs in view of the postponement of SAARC conference.

PM Nawaz will also take the cabinet into confidence over his US visit and the steps formulated for national defense.

The premier has declared that Pakistan’s valiant armed forces are fully capable of defending the territorial integrity of the country, reported Radio Pakistan.

Strongly condemning unprovoked and naked aggression of Indian forces along the Line of Control, he said Pakistan can thwart any evil design to undermine the sovereignty of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister warned that Pakistan’s intent for peaceful neighbourhood should not be mistaken as its weakness.

Nawaz Sharif paid rich tributes to soldiers who have been martyred during unprovoked firing by Indian forces.
