India giving false color to LoC firing to satisfy its people: Asif
BSF firing was part of a well-thought-out plan to satisfy Indian public, the minister said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Thursday said that India’s claim of surgical strike across the Line of Control (LoC) was not true.
"India violated LoC last night and only used light weapons in the firing in which two Pakistani soldiers were martyred and nine others injured," he said.
Asif said India was trying to give false color to the exchange of fire on the Line of Control to satisfy its people and media.
He said India s firing was part of a well-thought-out plan.
The Defence Minister said Pakistan gave befitting response to Indian aggression and armed forces are fully prepared to do so in case of any violation of ceasefire on the Line of Control.
