PM Nawaz strongly condemns Indian aggression at LoC

PM warned that Pakistan's intent for peaceful neighbourhood should not be mistaken as its weakness.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has declared that Pakistan’s valiant armed forces are fully capable of defending the territorial integrity of the country, reported Radio Pakistan.

Strongly condemning unprovoked and naked aggression of Indian forces along the Line of Control, he said Pakistan can thwart any evil design to undermine the sovereignty of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister warned that Pakistan’s intent for peaceful neighbourhood should not be mistaken as its weakness.

Nawaz Sharif paid rich tributes to soldiers who have been martyred during unprovoked firing by Indian forces. 

The premier has also summoned cabinet meeting tomorrow to discuss the present security situation and take the members into confidence over Kashmir issue.

Indian army opened unprovoked fire at different Pakistani sectors on Thursday in which atleast two Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom.

Indian forces targeted Bhimber, Hotspring, Kel, and Lipa sectors at 02:30 am and the exchange of fire continued till 08:00 am. 

Pakistani troops befittingly responded to the Indian aggression and silenced their guns.
