Case lodged against five FIA officers for allowing three people to travel illegally

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – As many as eight officials of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have been alleged of allowing three Pakistanis to travel Libya on fake passports on August 16, reported on Sunday.

According to details, the investigation was started on the directives of FIA Director Mazhar Kakakhel after which eight officers were declared accused while three of them became witnesses.

A case against five personnel Inspector Zia-ul-Hassan, Azmat, Sub-inspector Qari Arshad, Sub-inspector Shabana and head constable Faisal has been lodged.

However, a case has also been registered against three FIA agents Kamran, Urdsher and Arsalan whereas a joint investigation team has also been formed for further inquiry.

Moreover, raids are underway to arrest absconders.
