Imran Khan inaugurates second phase of Health Facility Card in KPK

Second phase of KPK Health Facility Card programme will cost 5 billion rupees.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Wednesday inaugurated second phase of Health Facility Card in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), reported Dunya News.

Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak and Speaker KPK Assembly Asad Qaiser were also present on the occasion.

Speaking at the ceremony PTI chairman said that expensive healthcare facilities and injustice lead the society towards failure. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has spent millions in going abroad for his treatments.

Imran Khan said that his government has provided better health facilities to half of population in KPK. Moreover he directs CM KPK to provide free healthcare facilities to whole population of the province.

PTI chairman further said that the provincial government is committed to make the institutions strong.

KPK Health Facility Card will facilitate 18 Lac families whereas 8 members of each family to receive healthcare facilities equivalent to 5 Lac 40 Thousand rupees annually.
