Major terror plan in Balochistan foiled, 6 terrorists arrested
The security forces also seized heavy weaponry from the busted terrorists
QUETTA (Dunya News) – A terrorists’ network was busted on Saturday after action of security forces and intelligence agencies in Nushki, foiling a major terrorism plan in the province, Dunya News reported.
According to details, at least 6 terrorists including a commander running Al-Qaeda’s network have been arrested while heavy weaponry has also been seized. The seized weapons comprise 7 Kalashnikovs, 12 riffles and 40 grenades.
Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said the terrorists want to create a sense of fear and terror in the society. He said the head of the group used to brainwash common people in Nushki.
The Home Minister said he has been saying from the day one that India’s secret agency has been funding these terrorists, adding that their goal is for sense of fear and terror to prevail in the society.
