PM presides over cabinet, NEC meetings via video link
Approval of federal budget for upcoming fiscal year shall be given in cabinet meeting, sources say
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif presided over meetings of the federal cabinet and that of the National Economic Council (NEC) dealing with the federal budget of the next fiscal year through a video link today, reported Dunya News on Sunday.
Preparations in this regards were made in the Pakistani High Commission in the United Kingdom (UK). Meeting of the NEC commenced at 5:15pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST) whereas the meeting of the federal cabinet started at 6:30pm PST. Sources indicate that approval of the federal budget for the upcoming fiscal year shall be given in the cabinet meeting.
PM presided over and will address both the meetings from the Pakistani High Commission in London through a video link.
