ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Wednesday has stated that extremism has increased in Pakistan’s tribal areas due to drone attacks.
In an interview to Russian Television, Imran Khan lashed out at the incumbent government and alleged that the ruling party can also permit United States to hold drone attacks in parts of Pakistan over few dollars.
He said that the government is devoid of self-respect. PTI chief said that Pakistan only wants peace in Afghanistan, not drone attacks.
Imran Khan said that drones take lives of everyone including children and elderly people therefore, they should be banned in the country.
According to a report, more than four thousand people have been died in as many as 423 drone strikes in Pakistan in 2003.
