LAHORE (Dunya News) – Five culprits have been identified after they treated women indecently in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PI) rally on the Mall, Dunya News reported Wednesday.

Last Sunday, PTI conducted a rally on the Mall outside Punjab Assembly. After PTI chairman Imran Khan’s much awaited address, women participants were manhandled and misbehaved with as they exited the venue. The party has come under fire by the government for not treating their women right and considering them ‘showpieces’ at rallies.

PTI has denounced hurling baseless accusations at the party by the government. A case was launched by PTI at a police station in the provincial capital.

PTI chairman’s spokesperson stated that ruling party’s ‘goons’ mistreated women participants at the rally. He said that no woman supporter of PTI was wronged ever in any rally prior to the one in Lahore which was held against government’s will.
