CTD arrests ex-official of secret agency allegedly involved in extremist acts
2 bombs, 32 kg of explosive material, 8 detonators and 2 rocket launcher missiles were recovered
MANSEHRA (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday has arrested a former official of secret agency who has allegedly been involved in extremism while huge amount of explosives material and other weaponry have been recovered from the suspect, reported Dunya News.
According to CTD sources of Abbottabad, ex-official of secret agency Muhammad Gul has been arrested from the area of Oghi Shahkot, over involvement in extremism. 2 bombs, 32 kg of explosive material, 8 detonators and 2 rocket launcher missiles were recovered from the suspect.
Anti-terrorism court has ordered a 7-day physical remand as important revelations are expected from the suspect.
