Karachi: 11 accused arrested during police operations
At least 11 accused were arrested during police operations in different parts of Karachi on Sunday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police conducted search operations in different parts of Karachi on Sunday and apprehended at least 11 accused including an extortionist, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police arrested six accused during a search operation in Mahmoodabad area of Chanisar Goth. Police sources said that an extortionist and two drug peddlers were among the arrested accused.
Police sources said that the arrested drug peddlers, Ali Raza and Abdul Majid, used to sell narcotics in posh areas of the city while extortionist Nauman was a proclaimed offender.
Two accused were arrested after encounter with police during operations on Joharabad and Pareedi areas. Meanwhile, police also arrested three Afghan nationals during search operation in New Town area.
