PTI protest against govt for not reducing oil prices in accordance with global prices, held rally

FAISALABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday staged a protest against privatization policy, gas load shedding and inflation. They protested against the government for not reducing the oil prices in Pakistan in accordance with the fall in global prices. The protesters also held a rally, reported Dunya News.

Holding a protest at District Chowk in Faisalabad along with Pakistan International Airline (PIA) employees, PTI also announced complete support for PIA employees’ cause. The protesters also led a rally from District Council Chowk to Ghanta Ghar Chowk.

The protesters demanded more reduction in the prices of petroleum products. The protesters said that the government that claimed of having provided relief to the people is now demanding bids for the airline that became Pakistan’s identity across the globe.
