Snowfall, rain wreak havoc in Azad Kashmir, block link roads

The weather officials have predicted more rains and snowfall for further 24 hours.

AZAD KASHMIR (Dunya News) – Continuous rain and extreme weather condition in Azad Kashmir badly disrupted routine life while some linking roads have also got blocked due to heavy snowfall.

District of Bagh and its adjoining areas including Lasdana, Dara Haji Pir, Toli Pir, Sadhan Gali, Ganga Choti, Sher camp and Bhedi received strong snowfall that lasted for 48 hours.



According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), maximum snowfall recorded is 4 to 5 feet in Dara Haji Pir that blocked main link roads, creating difficulties for the residents.



The weather officials have predicted rains and snowfall for further 24 hours.

On the other hand, parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are under thick blanket of fog while some areas have also witnessed rainy weather.
