LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday has adjourned hearing of Zain murder case until October 12 while another three witnesses have retracted from statements.

As the case was heard, police presented three witnesses before the court. The witnesses said that they have no idea who gunned down the 15-year-old student in Cavalry Ground. They said that Zain was covered in blood and that is all they saw.

With the latest retractions, total number of witnesses who could not help in the case has reached to six.

It should be mentioned here that the police arrested two prosecution witnesses in September as they recanted their statements. The police said that the witnesses had recorded in statements that former state minister’s son Mustafa Kanju was drunk and shot the student but retracted later on.
