Asif Zardari upset over Dr Asim's detention, says Rana Sanaullah
Rana Mashood was declared innocent in Rehman Malik's investigation, states Rana Sanaullah.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday has stated that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) apprehended Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain in corruption cases, Dunya News reported.
While talking to the media outside Punjab Assembly, Rana Sanaullah said that Asif Ali Zardari has always talked about politics of reconciliation but sometimes he gets emotional.
He said that earlier Zardari gave statements against armed forces and now he is mourning over Dr Asim’s detention. Law Minister added that NAB is responsible for the investigation against PPP leader and that it’s unfortunate if the arrest was made to take revenge.
Responding to a question, provincial leader lauded Pakistan Army and requested the parties to stand united for the success of ongoing anti-terrorism operations.
Reacting over Zardari’s statement, Rana Sanaullah stated that Rana Mashood was declared innocent in Rehman Malik’s investigation.
