Zardari is right, PML-N didn't fulfill the promise, says Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf

LAHORE: (Web Desk, Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has on Monday said that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had  a deal in the name of Charter of Democracy (COD). He said that Co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari is right that PML-N didn’t fulfill the promise, reported Dunya News.

Talking to revered journalist Kamran Khan on Dunya News’ program ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath’, Imran Khan said that the deal between PML-N and PPP in the name of COD has damaged democracy in Pakistan. He said that Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had claimed once that he would ‘tear Zardari’s belly out to pull the corruption money out of it’ but when he came to power, nothing happened.

Chairman PTI said that Karachi Operation is the need of the nation and many big mafias are scared of this operation right now. He said that army chief General Raheel Sharif is doing what the politicians should have done. “Army and Raheel Sharif’s graphs are going up”, he said. He added that General Raheel Sharif is determined to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan.

“Ehtisab Cell is arresting the corrupt people in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) and it is the first time in KP’s history that a sitting minister has been caught”, said Imran. Inviting the Rangers to KP, Imran Khan said that if the looters are arrested, it will help the nation only.

Talking about his strategy for the future, Imran said that he will hold a historic rally against Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) officials in Islamabad on October 4 and will also announce the future strategy afterwards.
