Four more death row convicts hanged

Four death row prisoners were hanged in different jails of Punjab on Wednesday.

GUJRANWALA/MIANWALI (Dunya News) - At least four death row prisoners were executed in different jails of Punjab on early Wednesday morning, Dunya News reported.

According to details, death row convict Waqar Ahmad was hanged in Gujranwala Central Jail. Waqar had killed five people, including three little girls, in Mianwali Bangla area in the jurisdiction of Police Station Satra in 2000 over an old enmity.

Three death row prisoners, Amanullah, Mumtaz and Muhammad Riaz, were executed in Central Jail Mianwali. Amanullah, Mumtaz and Muhammad Riaz had killed three people by firing in Sessions Court Mianwali. An Anti Terrorist Court had sentenced them in 2009.
