KP assembly approves budget for fiscal year 2015-2016
Opposition parties refrained from participating in the budget session.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly approved the budget for fiscal year 2015-16 today (Monday), Dunya News reported.
As per details, the session was headed by Speaker Asad Qaisar in which four major opposition parties Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Awami National Party (ANP), JUI-F and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) refrained from participating.
During the session, not only budget 2015-2016 was officially accepted but finance bill with latest amendments and as many as 59 new projects worth Rs 787 billion also got House’s approval.
