Official announcement of KP LB polls' results faces delay
ECP has stated that some district returning officers have still not sent the complete results.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Local government has failed to announce final official results of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local bodies election, conducted on May 30, despite the passage of eight days to the polling, Dunya News reported on Monday.
As per details, the announcement was to be made on June 7 but the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has failed to display the lists.
ECP has stated that some district returning officers have still not sent the complete results.
On the other hand, this delay has forced the independent candidates to stage protest in different districts.
