9 more death row prisoners hanged in various cities

Nine death row convicts were hanged in different cities of the country on Wednesday morning.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - At least nine more death row convicts have been sent to the gallows in different jails of the country on early Wednesday morning while execution of two prisoners was postponed in, Dunya News reported.

Two death row prisoners were hanged in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail. Prisoner Abdul Khaliq had killed a woman in factory area while Shazad was guilty of killing a man.

Death row prisoner Bahadur Khan was executed in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. Bahadur Khan had killed Yasir Mahmood in 1997.

Two death row convicts were hanged in Gujrat. Prisoner Faisal Mahmood had killed his friend in 1994 while death row convict Naseer Ahmad was guilty of killing a man in 2002.

Death row convict Muhammad Amir was hanged in Sargodha. Muhammad Amir had killed his opponent in 2002.

Two death row prisoners were executed in Vehari. Prisoner had killed a 13-year-old girl in Lahore after molestation in 1999 while Sana Ullah had killed a 12-year-old boy after molesting him.

Another death row convict, Khan Muhammad was hanged in Machh. Khan Muhammad had killed his brother and nephew in 2004.
