PM Nawaz summons meeting to discuss Karachi situation
Earlier, a passenger bus got targeted by some unknown gunmen killing 43 people.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has summoned a meeting to discuss law and order situation after Karachi bus shooting incident who claimed lives of as many as 43 and injured several including children and women, Dunya News reported.
According to initial information, governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad and Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Qaim Ali Shah would participate in the meeting.
Earlier, at least 44 people have been killed and 13 others injured when some unknown gunmen attacked a passenger bus near Safoora Chowrangi in Karachi.
Reportedly, sixteen women were among the dead.
"At least six gunmen attacked a bus in the Safoora Goth area of Karachi," a senior police official told the media.
