Difference of stance emerges between Imran Khan, KP govt
Imran Khan said he had asked for assistance in contrast to the provincial minister's statement
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A difference in stance emerged on Monday between party Chairman Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as to ask for assistance from central government for disaster in the province, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media,Provincial Minister for Information Mushtaq Ghani claimed that KP govt is self-sufficent and does not require outside assistance, adding that it’s another matter if one wants to help the province out of its own accord.
On the other hand, Imran Khan said that he had asked for assistance from central government, in contrast to the provincial minister’s statement.
It should be noted here that populace of KP is in dire need of assistance and any difference in party Chairman and government’s stance could affect relief activities.
