Pakistan People's Party (PPP) did not become part in the Syrian issue, says opposition leader

SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Opposition leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khurshid Shah on Wednesday has said that Pakistan must not get herself involved in the Saudi-led offensive against rebels in Yemen and the country should work for the unity of Muslims.

He expressed these views after inaugurating computerized domicile registration centre in the Deputy Commissioner Officer (DCO) in Sukkur.

He said that the country is stuck in the Afghanistan issue for the last three decades. He urged the government to remain neutral in the prevailing situation. He said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) did not become a part in the Syrian issue.

Shah said that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto is going to conduct a rally in London and that the party wants to observe Bhutto’s anniversary on international level. The opposition leader also said that the government is initiating a system within 15 days in Sukkur which would identify the people who are employed in two or more departments.

He warned the ghost employees to quit one job otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
