Karachi: East Zone Police arrest 15 miscreants in different operations
The police seized grenades and AK-47s from their possession
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The East Zone Police on Saturday have arrested as many as 15 criminals involved in target killing and ransom kidnapping in different operations.
According to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) East Munir Sheikh, the police conducted different operations against target killers and criminals and arrested at least 15 miscreants.
He expressed these views in a press conference.
He said that the police conducted raids in several areas including Aziz Bhatti, Gulistan Johar, Shahra-e-Faisal. The police seized grenades and AK-47s from their possession, he added. The DIG said that the criminals were planning to use these weapons for a bigger attack.
He said that one specific group in involved in attacks on schools and the mosque in Aram Bagh.
