Zardari, Altaf agree to promote political reconciliation in Sindh
Former president Asif Zardari had a telephonic conversation with MWM chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had a telephonic conversation on Sunday.
Asif Zardari and Altaf Hussain felicitated each other over the unopposed victory of PPP and MQM candidates in the Senate elections. Both the leaders also agreed to create an atmosphere of reconciliation in Sindh.
Both the leaders discussed about bitterness and misunderstandings of the past between the PPP amd MQM and vowed not to repeat these mistakes in the future.
