Sialkot: Public Works Dept threats Dunya News team on disclosing corruption
Journalistic circle condemned the incident and urged government to take strict action against them.
SIALKOT (Dunya News) – Sialkot Works Department threatened and beaten up Dunya News team on revealing the joint corruption of the officials and staff, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
Staff of Public Works Department along with higher officials sold out tyres of government cars whereas office corruption has also exploited the whole system.
On the complaints of people, media officials arrived at the scene where they were threatened by the district leaders and staff of Public Works Department.
The officials also beaten up Dunya News team who was covering the issue.
Moreover, journalistic fraternity condemned the incident and urged the government to take strict action against the corrupt people
