Country needs new political power: Musharraf
Leaders are inefficient and they do not know the meaning of governance, says former president
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Former president Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday has said that a new political power is needed in the country to control the present turmoil. He said that the leaders of the country are inefficient and they do not know the meaning of governance.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the re-organisation ceremony of the press club through telephonic contact.
He said that the government is responsible for the severe petrol shortage in the country. He said that the people of the country are already facing issues of gas outages, electricity outages and lack of potable water and now the government has produced petrol crisis in the country. Leaders of the country are not able to make the government function, he added.
Musharraf said that the need of time is that the people get united under one flag of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) after organising small portions of the party. He said that the country would be steered towards progress once the people start supporting APML.
