KP Assembly approves resolution to name roads after APS martyrs

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly on Tuesday has unanimously approved the resolution regarding naming the roads in Peshawar after Hero of Hangu Aitzaz Hassan and the innocent children who lost their lives in the attack.

The KP Assembly session was chaired by the Speaker Asad Qaisar.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member of the assembly Nighat Orakzai put forth a resolution right after the session started demanding the provincial government to name the road from Hangu to Kohat after the martyr of the Army Public School (APS) attack Aitzaz Hassan.

The sacrifices of the innocent children were also given a salute to in the KP Assembly session.

The assembly also unanimously approved the Amendment bill regarding the security of the sensitive and very sensitive places in Peshawar. Minister for Information said that the provincial government has put prices on the heads of terrorists.

The session will resume on January 9 (Friday).
