Summary This is not the time to score political points but to stand strong against terrorism, says CM
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday has said that the country is mourning over the horrible incident in Peshawar that killed innocent children who went to the school for a brighter future.
He expressed these views at a press conference in Lahore.
The CM said that the people of Pakistan must express a resolve today after this sad incident that they would get united under against the common enemy of us all.
He said that the nation stands with the grieving families of Peshawar.
Shahbaz Sharif also said that there would be no other agenda but the elimination of terrorism not just from the country but the region.
This is not the time to score political points in the eyes of the people but to stand strong against terrorism, he added.
CM further said that terrorists now are targeting innocent children.
Earlier, in a terrorist attack on the Army Public School, as many as 127 students were killed, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
