PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Lady Reading Hospital has been found out on Saturday to have no supply tetanus injections for the past three months.
According to the details, the KPK government had announced that all the emergency wards of the hospitals of the province are being provided with free medicines but it has been found out that not just Lady Reading Hospital but Khyber Teaching Hospital and Hayatabad Medical Complex have no supply of tetanus injections for the past three months.
The patients have no choice but to but the injections from the markets.
Dr Muhammad Sahrif, Medical Superintendent of the Lady Reading Hospital said that there is no need of Tetanus injections in the emergency wards.
While according to the chief pharmacist of the hospital, the problem is being faced by the hospitals because the NHI plant is out of order.
