Protest to continue until arrest of Khalid Soomro's murderers: Fazlur Rehman
He said he won't remain silent and that the protest will continue until arrest of murderers.
LARKANA (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday said that terrorists have broken their back by murdering Khalid Soomro but, he said, terrorists’ activities can’t stray JUI-F from its mission, Dunya News reported.
He said he won’t remain silent and that the protest will continue until arrest of murderers.
Addressing the media after condoling with Soomro’s family in Larkana, Fazlur Rehman said he was also targeted before Soormo was attacked, adding that terrorism can’t stray him from mission.
He said he will continue his struggle after regrouping and reuniting.
Fazlur Rehman said that the nation has ‘endorsed’ JUI-F’s ideology by showing solidarity. He said every worker will now get out by becoming Khalid Soomro and that the protest will continue until culprits are arrested.
He said he will announce the new strategy on Monday. Fazlur Rehman said that if security institutions can’t provide protection then they should accept their defeat.
Prior to this, Fazlur Rehman along with key JUI-F leaders also consoled with family of Dr Khalid Soomro.
