PP-148 Bhakkar: Independent candidate Inamullah Niazi leads
After 100 PS result, Inamullah Niazi leads with 37,693 votes, Ahmad Noorani runner-up with 31,497
BHAKKAR: (Dunya News) – Independent candidate Inamullah Niazi is leading the PP-148 by-election in Bhakkar after results of 100 polling stations. Inamullah Niazi has so far secured 37,693 votes while Ahmad Nawaz Noorani is following him with 31,497 votes.
The provincial assembly seat was vacated after the death of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) MPA Najeeb Ullah Niazi. Three candidates are running for this constituency including Inamullah Niazi, Ahmad Nawaz Noorani and Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) Nazar Abbas.
According to unofficial results of 100 polling stations, Inamullah Niazi is leading by 6196 votes while PAT’s candidate has secured 9332 votes.
Sweets are right now being distributed among the celebrating workers at Inamullah Niazi’s office as the supporters foresee victory.
