Malik Riaz stepped up to support the people of Hyderabad by forming a university, says Ishratul Ibad

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Thursday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan must demonstrate a peaceful protest on Novemebr 30 and advised the Prime Minister (PM) to stay calm in these crisis.

He expressed these views via telephone at the MQM centre Nine Zero in Karachi when Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad and Bahria Town chairman Malik Riaz paid a visit there.

MQM member Haider Abbas Rizvi welcomed both the Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad and Riaz upon their arrival.

He said that they are thankful to Riaz for his announcement regarding Altaf Hussain University Karachi and the fact that around 20 percent students would study free of cost in the university.

He said that the university would provide education for lesser dues than those of the government institutions.

Rizvi also said that the Pakistani hockey team had annoyance over the fact that nobody comes for their help which Riaz has compensated with his generosity.

He sounded confident that the Pakistani hockey team would defeat the Indian team.

MQM chief Altaf hussain also addressed the workers via telephone.

He thanked Malik Riaz for the announcement of universities in Karachi and Hyderabad.

He said that many impoverished people would pray in favour of Riaz for these progressive steps.

MQM chief also said that people like Riaz must be in the government because they do work in the best interest of the people.

Hussain said that he never became the Chief Minister (CM) of the Urdu speaking people, adding had the Constitution of Pakistan permitted, he would have made Malik Riaz the CM.

On the occasion, Riaz said that the 7th biggest mosque of the world has been made in Lahore.

He also said that former president Asif Ali Zardari asked him to name the university after MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

He thanked the people for giving him that much respect for taking a step regarding the university.

Sindh Governor said that Riaz is a generous man and that Zardari agreed upon the establishment of a university in Hyderabad.

He further said that a state-of-the-art university would be established in Hyderabad and that at least 50 percent students would get scholarships for their education.

Malik Riaz stepped up to support the people of Hyderabad, he added.
