Mystery of minor girls found in Liaqatabad house solved

In-charge of Bayt-al-Mal's Sweet Home Zamurd Khan announced to take responsibility of the girls.

KARACHI (Dunya News) The mystery of 26 minor girls found by police in a house on Tuesday night was solved. All the girls were from Bajaur Agency and they were studying in a Madrassa run by a female teacher. Police found out that the owner of the house borrowed 2 lac rupees from the teacher and failed to pay it back as promised. The teacher of the madrassa handed over 26 female students to the debtor stating that he is responsible for their expenses now if he cannot pay his debt.

Girls could not speak any language other than Pashto so they were unable to communicate with anyone. They were very afraid and wanted to go home.

Families of the female students reached to fetch them after this news broke. Some of the girls are still waiting for their families whereas Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), SIndh Government and In-charge of Bayt-al-Mal’s Sweet Home Zamurd Khan has announced to take responsibility of the girls. Police took custody of the girls and will hand them over to their families after their medical check-up.
