Change possible through flawless elections: Sirajul Haq
Islamic revolution is our destination but the way to achieve it must be peaceful, says Haq
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Monday has said that change in the country is only possible through flawless elections.
He expressed these views in a press conference along with as many as 55 delegates from around 30 countries.
He said that Islamic revolution is their destination but the way to achieve it must be peaceful.
Haq urged the Arab countries to give freedom of speech to everybody so that they could play their part in the progress of the Ummah.
Sirajul Haq also urged the international community to stop any country that intervenes the internal matters of Islamic countries.
He said that the problems being faced by the Islamic countries, including Kashmir issue has been talked about with productive outcomes.
Haq said that the things that have been stressed upon include an end to drone attacks in Pakistan and implementation of the resolutions of the Security Council regarding Kashmir by America.
