He urged the party workers to start preparing for the local body elections

BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) president Shujaat Hussain on Saturday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has lead a historic demonstration of protest of as many as 100 days against the corrupt government and that his demands are just and should be met.

He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the PML-Q rally in Bahawalpur.

He said that the people of Bahawalpur have been deceived a number of times by being told that their city is going to become a province.

He urged the party workers to start preparations of the local body elections.

On the occasion, former chief minister of Punjab Ch Pervez Elahi said that they did not make fake promises but performed in the best interest of the people during their tenure.

He also said that the country is being ruled by one family while the its people are mourning due rising issues in the country.

Pervez Elahi challenged the government saying that to see who has done better work for the people and the country by comparing PML-N’s ten years and PML-Q’s only five years of being in power.
