Pakhtoons are treated as gypsies, says MQM's Haider Abbas Rizvi

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamat-e-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday insisted that jirga should be given the role for peace keeping among the tribesmen.

Addressing the tribal jirga Fazlur Rehman demanded reformation in the system of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) adding that they intend the state to realize its responsibility.

Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Haider Abbas Rizvi said Pakhtoons are treated as gypsies while the most prominent adversity is that of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

Talking to Dunya News, Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao said it is vital to maintain peace in the region and that they won’t rest until resolution of the issues of tribesmen and the IDPs.
